Okay, there is no doubt that Blockchain is increasingly relating to the social innovation universe.

But after all, what is social innovation?

According to the Amani Institute, Social Innovation is a new solution to a social problem. This solution needs to be more efficient, effective, sustainable and fair than the existing ones. In addition, it has the priority of generating value for society as a whole, not for a restricted group.

It’s a Match: Blockchain and Social Innovation

Blockchain is a tool that makes Social Innovation viable, since it allows the development of new ways of doing considering social and environmental inclusion.

A new way of doing:

Blockchain is a new solution that brings improvements to traditional methods. It is a new technological approach to support a brave new world where standards are constantly being questioned.

An inclusive way of doing it:

The technology involves the following attributes:

Trust: trust is at the heart of Blockchain. Trusting in your own right has value. Blockchain stores values and involves collective value authentication. Blockchain offers confidence in the system as a whole.

Transparency: Stakeholders have access to all system transactions. Blockchain has the ability to create transparent, secure, accessible and real-time communication networks.

Collaboration: Blockchain adds value to people and allows fair and peer to peer exchanges. The system is based on user collaboration, characterized by a collective experience. Blockchain is about inclusion and free value creation.

New Power: For a long time, power was mediated by a select few. It’s time to regain control. Blockchain is network integrity, power distribution, transparency and new citizenship.

….

To achieve sustainable development, we need a planet where people, businesses, government and the environment can coexist in harmony. Blockchain supports this new kind of social good: more efficient, reliable, inclusive and transparent.

Blockchain for social innovation provides harmony in all kind of business and is sustained by ethics. Incredible, isn’t it?
